Leaving us?

There are two ways to delete your account. This permanently deletes not only the account but all of your data associated with it.

In app

Open Calii and sign in.
Go to your Profile and tap the Settings icon.
Choose Account, then Delete account.
Enter your password and tap Delete my account.

Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone.

By email

If you have uninstalled the app, forgotten your password, or for whatever reason can no longer access the in-app settings, just send us an email with the one used to create your account and we will delete it for you.

Note: Please send the request from the email address registered to the account so we can confirm it is yours. We may reply asking you to confirm before we act. Requests are handled within 30 days.

What is deleted

Deleting your account is permanent and removes all of your data from our systems:

Your account and email address
Your password
Every workout, exercise entry and set you have logged
Your workout templates
Your skill progress, goals and unlocked milestones
Your activity feed
Everyone you follow, and everyone following you
Any feedback you have sent us
All active sign-in sessions

What is kept

When you delete your account, your account and associated data is deleted from our active systems. Copies of your data may temporarily remain in database backups as part of our hosting provider's continuous point-in-time recovery (PITR) system. These backups are retained for up to 3 days and are used only to restore service in event of a failure.

We also take an occasional encrypted backup of our database, stored on Cloudflare's EU servers, so the service can be recovered if our hosting provider ever fails. Each of these is deleted automatically after 90 days, so your data may remain in one for up to 90 days after you delete your account.

We also keep a note that your account was deleted for 100 days, so it stays deleted even if we ever restore a backup.

Feedback you send from the app is also posted to our team's private feedback channel, with your display name and username. Those messages are not removed automatically. If you would like them deleted too, email us and we will remove them.
